New to MTSU or Still Deciding?
New to Blue Preparation
If you are attending New to Blue Orientation as an undecided student, review the Undecided Student Handbook before your orientation date. This will help you prepare for the Meet Your Major session, Parent and Family Session, and your individual advising appointment.
Before arriving:
- Review the Undecided Student Handbook.
- Complete any assigned pre-orientation activities.
- Write down questions you would like to discuss with your advisor.
- Be prepared to talk about your interests, goals and possible areas of study.
Prepare for Your Appointment
- Check your MTSU email for appointment information.
- Review your DegreeWorks audit.
- Make a list of courses you may need for the upcoming semester.
- Write down any questions you want to discuss.
- Have access to PipelineMT during virtual or phone appointments.
