Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Training

Are you bored in your current career? Do you enjoy helping people and are interested in a rewarding challenge? MTSU’s Emergency Medical Training is for you!

This program will equip you with the knowledge and skills to pass the National Registry exam and become a fully capable, state-certified EMT/AEMT.

We have a team of seasoned EMTs (two instructor coordinators and four instructor assistants) who work together to mentor, instruct, perfect, and provide continuous help to our students. Their hearts are to impart their experience, knowledge, and care in to each student who enters our program to raise replacements, not coworkers, in this field.

Registration for our Basic EMT and Advanced EMT courses are currently closed.

The Basic EMT course will begin in late spring 2025 (end of May/beginning of June).
Contact me at Emily Armstrong at emily.armstrong@mtsu.edu or call 615-494-7718 to receive more information or to be placed on our notification lists on upcoming courses.
